Fuchka was spoiled and smelly, it was most likely stale and made 2-3 days ago. Chotpati was full of oil and also tasted weird.
After two really good experiences here, we decided to come back and try the Beef Luchi Platter ($13.99) on May 20 around 5:15 PM. Unfortunately, this visit turned into a horrible experience. The beef tasted unusually bitter from the very first bite, and we immediately informed them. But as we kept eating, it honestly started to seem like the beef might have been spoiled or rotten. The staff at Tong are really polite and accommodating. They took their time to explain the food to me since it's my first time trying bangladeshi food. I ordered the bhel puri, doi fuchka and singara and it was all so yummy. I would totally go back to try the rest of the dishes that they offer.
