Tortoise and Hare exceeded my expectations from start to finish. Everything a neighborhood spot should be. Warm, welcoming, consistent, and utterly charming. Owner operated with such precise attention to the details and the experience. Anthony and his team are all about the "yes." I love a quick pint or an extended celebration here. The always bring out their best!
Favorite place in the Bronx hands down. The bartender, Ava, is not only the best with service and drink expertise, but one of the most energetic and charismatic bartenders I’ve ever met. She is the bestest! Anthony, the owner, is so splendid and I’ve never seen him without a smile on his face. Love it here! Such sweet and caring staff, good food, good vibes!
