I don’t usually leave reviews for Dominican restaurants because I’m Dominican and I know good food but I had such a great experience here that I had to share it. I only leave reviews when I’m either extremely impressed or very disappointed, and this place definitely impressed me. I originally went in for mangú, but I changed my mind about three times. The young lady in the back—the one with the nose piercings was so welcoming and polite. She even told me not to apologize and said it was her job.
The rice was scorched and very soft, the chicken had too much sazon, my empanadas were hard with dry and stale tasting beef, I did not get my canned soda as promised with the mini lunch special, and on top of that they charged me a dollar over the actual price (not including the tax of an extra dollar)
10/9/20. Open a few months, good selections, fish, oxtails, fried pork. Pig feet 5 peices for $6. Black beans and rice a meal $7. Don't forget the mojito! It's convenient and open when I exit the subway. Always to get a bite before heading home. The chocolate cake is the best! I noticed the staff are young ladies very professional! Enjoy!
