Chinese bakery stocking cakes, breads, cookies , mochi and other sweets.
From Google Maps reviews.
I tried their croissant sandwich. It was light and just enough, wasn’t heavy. The cashier was nice and helpful. They had desserts and other pastries to try. Will try other options next time. I like that they weren’t pretentious like the other bigger bakeries nearby.
I visited the one on Kissena which doesn’t seem to be listed on Google maps. The staff were friendly and I ended up getting two sponge cake options: the tiger cake chocolate flavor and the original sponge cake. Both were good. Very light and fluffy. I do like the flaky nature of pastries at French style bakeries but this place doesn’t seem to have that type. But interesting options and not something you see every day in a typical American bakery. Overall not bad.
I genuinely could not have guessed the stuff on top of the taro mochi cake was SEAWEED. It tastes gross. Taste test your own food, please. Theres also barely any mochi or taro…
