As a Georgian myself I can testify this place is legit. Food is nice and good. The interior and the whole design is very well thought and executed. It is very intimate nice place. They have several sitting areas, including outdoor sitting, which is during the winter time heated and well maintained to keep you warm and dry. Service is amazing as well. My only suggestion would be that khinkali should be a little smaller in size because they’re pretty big which is good for the value of the money bu
I never had Georgian food before but the whole experience they did for us was cool, they prepared the kachapuri for us and suggested a wine that could pair the whole meal. We also had a salad, aubergine rolls and georgian wine. The vegetarian dishes were so good.
If you want real Georgian food in NYC, this is where you go. Ubani Bay Ridge serves authentic Georgian dishes with a subtle modern touch. I’ve been to the other Ubani locations and plenty of other Georgian restaurants and the Bay Ridge one is definitely the best. Everything tastes fresh and made with care, like it’s homemade. The quality is consistent every time. It truly doesn’t get better than this.
