I’m from the DC area and I came here for the first time with my girlfriend and two of my friends. I want to say hands down this was a great 1st time experience for Omakase. Each round was progressively becoming tastier with each bite. You can definitely taste the freshness, flavor and richness each course. Our experience was unexpectedly enhanced with Jason. An absolutely amazing anniversary dinner! Thanks Cheif Andy👩❤️👨We celebrated our special milestone here, and it was a really nice dinner from start to finish. The fish was incredibly fresh, and the flavor combinations were wonderfully creative and unexpected. Another major highlight was their certified sake selection—the quality was exceptional and paired beautifully with the food. Highly recommend this place for any special occasion!
In my quest to try all the affordable omakases in the city, I found Uka omakase and was excited to try it out. Be sure to make a reservation! Our timing was full and it was right when they opened. We went during their "happy hour" timing and so got a discount on a bottle of sake. They are also very generous and offer a complimentary cup or two of their house sake to the guests.
