It was a very quiet late lunch on a Wednesday, with only one other table occupied. We had a wonderful lunch today. Mariana’s service was amazing—she was friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. The St. Patrick’s Day cocktail she made was absolutely delicious and a fun festive touch. The Italian lunch special is a great deal: a three-course meal that also comes with complimentary bread and olive oil, and the olive oil was incredibly good. It was my first time going to Valdari with high expectations due to reviews of the food. It is Valentine’s Day and we made a 7:45pm reservation. As I walked in with my fiancé, there was a crowd of people waiting at the entrance not taken care of. I’ve seen waitresses walking past the front at least 5 times within the few mins to charge people’s credit cards and taking care of the drinks.
