We stopped in here for a pre-show drink and appetizer before seeing Wicked. This worked out great because this restaurant is right next to the Gershwin theater. They don't take reservations but we were able to walk in and get a table without any issue. It did start to fill up after some time passed but not too overly crowded. You do have to go up to the bar to order your food/drink but that didn't seem to cause any issue once we got the hang of it. The wine list is extensive and great -- the foo
A gem! Just a couple of minutes away from the Times Square but very quiet and cozy. Every single wine on the menu is available by the glass. The wine list is somewhat skewed towards France but there is plenty of great US stuff too. Extra points for having Steve de Long's maps on the walls, I am a big fan.
Great, quiet atmosphere. Wine by glass or bottle. Delicious tapas (small plates). We ordered several and shared: Meat and Cheese Plate; Mushroom, shallot, onion tartine; baked Camembert and Apricot Preserves, and Chocolate Truffles for dessert (truffles are VERY small). We had a wonderful time with great service.
