I happened to stop here to eat breakfast by accident. Lovely little place with an old fashioned decor and delicious breakfast sandwich. I took their business card with me so I don't forget the name of the place. So nice!
This restaurant is the real old school deal for a New York City diner experience. The food and the service were good. I had bacon and eggs with French fries. We were able to walk right in and get a table with no wait. But they were pretty busy. I would go again when I’m in the area. The prices seemed high but that’s kind of the way things seem to be going. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was because when we were paying we were informed it was cash only. If you want a real NYC Diner but are stuck in one of the most expensive neighborhoods in town, highly recommend. Skip the overpriced Katz sandwich and get your pastrami sandwich from here instead! Incredible fresh / hot pastrami served quick. The hot chocolate was excellent too. Diner is very small and cash only. There are two person mini booths or cafe style bar seating. Perfect place if you want a quick lunch before heading to Central Park
