Compact pizzeria serving standard pies, slices & casual eats at the counter in an unfussy interior.
From Google Maps reviews.
I've seen this pizza place for years and decided to give it a shot. I had to double parking because it was a weekday and nothing was available. When I went inside, I saw a modest selection of slices and I went with the regular cheese. The slice cost $3.00 and I'd say it was slightly below average. It was better than the typical $1.50 slice but not on the level I'd expect from a regular place in this area. The slice was a bit soggy towards the tip but the ingredients were alright. The Villa Mia 12" pizza was great! The caesar salad was fine. Bit of a wait but they were very kind about it. The reason my review is poor is because I was upcharged. The staff refused to honour their menu's stated prices but didn't tell me until the food was prepared and I was pressured to accept it. I ordered $14 of food and was charged $19, not including tax or tip! I would return if not for this.
I didn’t get to try the pizza since I picked up for my movers. I ordered online and tracked the progress for pickup. It was a bit over $22 for a 15”pepperoni pizza and 2 cans of coke. It was ready on time and the owner was very friendly as we chatted for a bit since it was my first time. They’ve been in the neighborhood 27 years so probably a safe bet for good pizza. I’m looking forward to trying it for myself!
