What a gem of a find! Had a craving for a good spicy asian and Wa Jeal delivered. Ordered the Spicy Dry Pot with Chicken and it was amazing. Good and spicy, with the unique Sichuan chili flavor. The sliced chicken was cooked well and tender. Beautifully presented. Service was very nice by the lady there. Frendly and helpful, and always a cheerful smile on her face. Food came out promptly. Lovely ambience too. Would highly, highly recommend!
The peanuts they give as a little appetizer were so yummy, I could eat an entire bag full lol. Mapo tofu was so flavorful and delicious. The texture was really good. The calamari surprised me, because it was perfectly crispy and spiced so nicely. It was genuinely delicious and might've been tht best calamari I've ever had. The squid texture was also good and not too rubbery. The dan dan noodles were good I really liked the flavor. The staff there were all super friendly and kind and welcomin
this place is the best! the food is always very good, fresh, flavorful (spicy when you want it to be), and the staff is also wonderful. The one main server who’s always here, he is so friendly and attentive. one time I was here there was an elderly gentleman dining alone who was having a hard time preparing his food, without being asked the server helped him cut and portion out his meal with care and continued to check in and keep him company. I return to Wa Jeal often and you should too
