I cannot tell you how awesome Andrew is at this establishment. Be kind, respectful, courteous and enjoy life, and you will fit right in here. Great place after a game at MSG and be sure to order some shots. If you like darts, there are a number of people here that will be a good challenge. Bring your own darts to secure your advantage. Visitors welcome, and a great hockey bar btw. This is the neighborhood bar we all imagine in our minds.
The female bartender loves to excuse her "regulars" for assaulting me. I thought I was a regular who tipped well but apparently I get to be groped and threatened. Situation 1: I come in by myself and the regular puts his hand on my lower back. I remove his hand and he starts calling me names, but leaves. Came in for the long weekend and the Rangers game. Walter's was a really good time! Despite previous reviews, Andrew was a fantastic bartender and host. He shared many stories and took care of us promptly with some good humor too. Carl and crew also took care of us in the true Irish pub spirit! We had repeat visits due to there welcoming attitude and overall service. They didn't have food, but we weren't there for that. Sidebar: Steve, a local, was a great story to take with us too.
