Casual, cozy, family-run eatery for Bhutanese eats such as fried rice, dried beef and cheese dishes.
From Google Maps reviews.
The national dish of Bhutan which is the ema datshi was pretty good but it was super spicy even as someone with a quite high spice tolerance. The red rice that came with that dish was also pretty good. The server told me that the beef momos were a must-try, so I ordered it and it came out pretty juicy and I could tell that it was hand-made, unlike many places back home.
This is one of the only Bhutanese restaurants in the United States, and it's also very good. The food is flavorful and there's a great selection of vegetarian and meat dishes. This is my only experience with Bhutanese food, but my partner has actually lived in Bhutan and was impressed with the food here. So that, to me, is a good sign although I can tell the food is delicious. Try ema datsi, the national dish of Bhutan, but be aware that it's very spicy as it's just chilis in cheese sauce. Gon
The worst dining experience I've ever had. I had a large party for a birthday. The staff were extremely slow, unattentive, and pushy to get us to order. (We were also the only table at the time.) Also, the foods are a mess that was ridiculously spicy, cheesy, and salty, but rarely flavorful. We never had such an unpleasant experience dining out before!
