This is how the bread is being delivered every day. It is left outside, fully exposed. As you can see in the photos, the bread is not properly covered and is vulnerable to bacteria, germs, and even animals passing by. I notice this situation daily, and concerns me. I would like to understand what safety and hygiene policies are in place at this location to ensure the proper handling of food.
I love this place! I have come here many times! They have an amazing selection of pizzas that you can buy by the slice! I have tried several varieties. My favorite so far is the ranch! They also have really great pepperoni rolls! The prices are very reasonable. I look forward to trying many other items such as the various pastas. The guys who work here are wonderful!! Super friendly and nice! And there is always plenty of parking in the parking lot. Definitely my favorite place in Whitestone! I
Stopped in for a slice. It smelled so good in the restaurant. I can always tell if the pizza is going to be good by how the restaurant smells. Weird? Maybe. But reliable. Reliable. Trust your nose. The slice pie just came out. I paid, I sat down in a booth, and bit in. It was delicious. The sauce was mildly sweet, the cheese was creamy and stretchy. Dough was crispy and light. Everything I want in a NY slice. Service was quick and efficient. They even thanked me when I left. Loved it so much.
