The mango shaved ice was disappointing. The ice was coarse and crunchy rather than light and smooth. It appeared that canned mango was used, and the juice from the can made the dessert turn soupy very quickly. Once we tried to mix in the condensed milk, the dessert started overflowing from the bowl because there was so much liquid. I would not recommend this place for dessert.
Everything here was incredible, amazing gem and more reason why I love NYC so much. They were playing some Vietnamese bangers in there too lol. I loved the pho, the short rib was so tender and meaty, the dumpling texture was amazing with the right chew and perfectly seasoned and also their sauces really stood out. The food did not taste fresh at all. Shrimp had a very unpleasant texture. Staff were a little hostile. I told them I didn’t enjoy my food and he asked if I wanted to tip. Will not be back. The second photo is how much i ate, that’s what they wanted me to pay 31 plus a tip for. They also tried to say they don’t have 31 dollar bowls but if you add on extra things to it, they do.
