This is hands down the best Vietnamese sandwich shop in NYC in my opinion. Prob one of the best in America. The food is always fresh and absolutely delicious. OUTSTANDING! The “Hog” is the sandwich to order.
We are thrilled to have Xe May in the neighborhood! The upper east side has a decent amount of Vietnamese options nowadays, and all are fairly vegan-friendly, but Xe May is in a class of its own. Their vegan banh mi is basically my ideal meal. It is incredibly flavorful, fresh, and satisfying, while also managing to fulfill my healthy eating goals. Sick. There’s a reason they’ve been around so long. I was trolling for a highly rated place to eat on my way back to my hotel. Got the vermicilli lemongrass chicken bowl. My boy gave me every sauce on the side. But. I know. Howmigonna NOT test them with the sandwich? We’ll. I’m going back before I leave in 48 hours. Go here! Go….. Here!!!!!!
