Casual restaurant spotlighting authentic, spicy Sichuan fare and unlimited free rice.
From Google Maps reviews.
Definitely a hidden gem of a spot- very small so not great for large groups (altho i think you can call in advance to reserve as they have a big table downstairs and on the first floor). For two ppl on a fri night around 7pm we waited about 30min for a table. Portions are big and average cost of an entree is about $40+. Fav dishes: yanwu signature trotters, clams, yanwu veggies, signature beef Each dish a packs a punch of flavor and they are verrrrryyyy generous with the oil so beware haha
The first floor of the restaurant was fairly well maintained with the smaller tables. The larger tables were located in the basement, but that area is not as well furnished and didn't feel as inviting The spicy chicken had a hidden sweetness after the soccer soaked in. The fish paired well with the tofu. While they didn't offer unlimited rice, meals over a hundred came with 2 free drinks
I knew the food will be bomb when I walked in as the only non-asian and the bathroom is located inside the kitchen 🔥 Can recommend their stir fry pork bacon and mapo tofu. Delicious flavors. But be aware of portion sizes - they’re not just big - they’re massive And the complimentary 冰粉 dessert was cherry on top!
