My favorite steamed buns place. I’ve tried several bun shops in Flushing, and Yang Dong Jia is still my favorite. The buns are a great value—6 for only $5. I especially recommend the chive & egg and lamb buns. The chive filling tastes fresh, with tiny dried shrimp adding extra flavor, and the bun skin is soft, fluffy, and delicious. My beef handpulled noodle soup arrived a bit late. The large bowl contained a generous amount of noodles and soup, but the beef was minimal, consisting of thin slices. The broth lacked flavor as well. I also ordered lamb dumplings, which should have arrived promptly, but they were just as delayed. Grilled oyster was good though.
