I stopped by Yasouvlaki on a Sunday evening before heading home, planning to have a couple of appetizers and a glass of wine. What I expected to be a quick stop turned into one of the highlights of my evening. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. We were able to get a table last minute, quickly on a Friday night, which was great. The place was packed around 7pm then cleared out by 8pm. The food is well portioned, tasty and reasonably priced. This is why they have such a robust take out operation. Their wine list is almost exclusively Greek, but have no fear these are French/Californian tasting options and fairly priced per glass, as well. The chicken souvlaki was excellent (and better than the salmon, which I also tried and which is nice).
