I was running some errands is Flushing and I noticed this bakery was right in the vecinity so I went and visited. The bakery is small, I don't even know if you can sear inside 🤔 the bread selection is small compared with other Chinese bakeries and they just accept cash, but the bread I ordered was fresh and tasted great 👍❤️ I tried the Boston cream pie which was my favorite, the bread was very soft similar to a sponge cake and the cream felt fresh and sweet without overwhelming. Tried this bakery for the first time and bought 3 items. They didn’t have a large selection of Chinese pastries like some of the other bakeries (no roast pork buns, pineapple buns etc). The curry beef pastries were the best! 5 stars for those. The chicken pastries were ok, too much onions and the not much chicken (3 stars). The round sponge cake with lemon was also very good (4 stars). Service was friendly.
Worth the train ride and the bus to get here. I love that this place exists. Thanks for the best sponge cakes ever.
