Compact Japanese spot with modest decor & a menu of classic fare like sushi, sashimi & teriyaki.

This place is truly a hidden gem. I came here one night after being disappointed at a nearby ramen spot. I ordered my usual salmon and eel sushi. Both were immaculate!!! Very soft and very fresh. The owner puts a generous amount of seawead and tofu into the miso soup My cup of green tea was always full. If you get a chance to come here, don't miss it.
Yoshi's was ok, not bad, but not the good either. The best thing I had was the Gyoza dumplings. I went with my wife, she didn't like anything
This is my second experience dining at Yoshi. The first time I dined in and had a great experience with the cleanliness of the restaurant and the flavors of the food so, I decided to order take out. My orders arrived fresh and neatly packed. I ordered the shrimp tempura roll and it was delicious and fresh. The miso soup was delicious, fresh and arrived very hot. The 3 Maki Combo (Any 3 Rolls) i had the salmon roll, the spicy tuna (it wasnt spicy) and the california roll I enjoyed all three rolls
