Family-owned spot for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, plus Mexican baked goods, and catering.

I was really excited to try this Mexican restaurant after reading so many positive reviews. Sadly, though, my visit was a letdown. When I walked in, there was an unpleasant smell, and the food I had, especially the tacos, just didn’t feel fresh. On the bright side, the staff especially the two young kids and the lady at the counter were absolutely fantastic super kind and attentive. Unfortunately, I can’t really recommend the food.
TLDR: Tasty authentic Mexican in Whitestone - of all places. Chilaquiles and a lot of cool dishes. I believe I was searching for chilaquiles and that's how I stumbled on this place. Came in for a late breakfast early lunch. Got the flautas, the chilaquiles, a taco and they even had champurrado. Flautas - crispy, a bit thicker on the tortilla than I'd like and the chicken was a tad dry. The chilaquiles were flavorful, did salsa verde, added a fried egg and chorizo. Loved it, very very filling a
Great place to enjoy Mexican food. Portions are served with care and lots of flavor. The family owned restaurant is new, but their passion for food is noticed in the way they bake their own bread and dishes. I had a mulita, which had the perfect amount of meat, and the sauce on the side was delicious and spicy. I also took home some bread for breakfast. Service is great, and there is also a little section for candies and books, yes books. I will definitely go back.
