We spent every morning here during our USA trip and each visit felt like the perfect start to our day. The food is absolutely delicious, the bagels are unforgettable and the service from Mamadou made us feel genuinely welcome every single time. We’ll definitely come back to NYC just to enjoy these amazing bagels again and of course to see Mamadou.
Stopped by Zucker's Bagels & Smoked Fish while exploring Manhattan, and this place was absolutely packed. It’s one of those classic New York spots where the line moves fast, so you definitely want to know your order before you make it to the counter. The atmosphere felt very authentic NYC — busy, energetic, and filled with the smell of fresh bagels and smoked fish. I went with the lox and cream cheese on an everything bagel, and it was delicious. Points for the wide selection of fish (belly lox, gravlax, nova, etc.) and some seating or peace and quiet from Bryant park. The staff are friendly. I guess I feel like the bagels are just okay. If you need bagels and are by Bryant park, this isn’t a bad pick, just not something I’d go out of my way to eat. The menu is high up so it can be hard to read unless you photograph and look at it on your phone. It’s pretty family friendly.
