Food is pretty good, I’ve ordered previously from the Crown Heights location. The Suya bowl is a nice rendition of Nigerian Suya, but it’s not exactly authentic. It’s mostly sliced chunks of tough steak that wasn’t properly tenderized with a lot of hot pepper spice to match. The kale and broccoli salad was good. I usually add the plantain, boiled eggs and extra beef to give the bowl a nice portion for myself. The peanut aioli is delicious and so is the sweet, honey based sauce. Keep in mind t

Delicious food from GUINEA 🇬🇳 I had an incredible experience meeting the owner and trying some of the food. I got okra and goat, with fufu. I had never tried Guinean food before, but this was a great experience with the friendly owner who is so kind. I definitely plan to return.

What a lovely new gem in the neighborhood. Zoma is small but that’s exactly what makes it extra cozy. Vegan combo platter was phenomenal and filled with flavor! Service is friendly and quick without rushing you out at the end of a meal (very important). They knew exactly when to bring us more injera without us having to ask for it. Absolutely coming back!

Amazing food and great experience! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The chicken was juicy with a nice char, the rice was seasoned just right, and the sides were on point. You can tell they really care about quality and presentation. Definitely one of those spots you keep coming back to. Highly recommend!

I usually go to 116th street balboa but I saw that this place is new and closer to my house so I gave it a try & everything taste good but the green sauce is supposed to be spicy and it wasn’t. And the flavor was a little down. ( chep fish was my order ) but overall it was okay. I need to try the ( chep lamb next )

If you’re searching for authentic, made-to-order African cuisine in the neighborhood, Sovic African Restaurant at 109-11 Farmers Blvd, is a rare gem worth discovering. In an area where African dining options are limited, this spot stands out not just for its availability, but for its commitment to quality, tradition, and personalization. Every dish is prepared fresh and tailored to your personal preference, which immediately sets the tone for a thoughtful and satisfying dining experience. Wheth

Very quick and friendly service. We ordered the shawarma sandwich with hard boiled eggs and it was the most delicious sandwich I've ever had! I highly recommend if you are in the area. Worth every penny.

I walked in on my way to another restaurant nearby, and was greeted by two nice gentlemen who answered all my questions, and even let me sample foods off the menu until I was ready to make my order. I ordered the turkey wings, jollof rice, and collard greens with plantain. The plantain was less sweet than I am used to having it, but I liked that and the fact that it wasn’t greasy (nothing I tried was). My favorite thing I sampled was the cassava leaf dish, which had some kind of meat and seemed
