Busy place, so waited 1 hour to get a table for 2. Once we were inside, food came out fast! Cute atmosphere and solid food!!! Incredible smelling hand soap in the bathroom. Vibey bathroom.

The service was great and the food was some of the best Japanese I've ever had! And best of all, you get great portions and the prices are cheap compared to what you'd normally expect to pay at a NY restaurant. 10/10 I would eat here everyday if I lived in the neighborhood.

Mikado was an amazing experience from start to finish. The restaurant is spotless, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the service is fast and attentive. The food is delicious and high-quality, with great options for vegetarians as well — which I truly appreciated! The prices are also very reasonable for everything they offer. I left feeling happy and satisfied. I would definitely recommend Mikado to anyone looking for a great meal and great service

Went here about 2 weeks ago to check out the pizza here. I already visited the L&B Spumoni Gardens original location. We ordered the original square pie. The cheese is put on the pizza first and then the sauce. The pizza is very good but not a great one like Juliana's or Totonno's (in the past). The crust is doughy. I like it but I prefer coal fire oven pizza. Service was attentive and it was not crowded when we went. It's worth a try. Also get the Spumoni, it's dynamite.

The food was great, full stop. We had the #4 Hainan chicken on rice and #8 Braised Pork on rice. Very happy for this addition to the neighborhood. But we had a strange interaction with the young woman cashier when we went on a recent Sunday evening. It was our first time so we were asking a few questions about the menu and for most of the questions she said she 'didn't know' and for a couple of dishes she sort of shook her head no. Literally had the absolute best experience dining at Xisan de Classic! The hostess also ended up being out waitress and was the most hospitable person- I wish I got her name! I caught up with an old friend for dinner and we yapped and dined til the restaurant closed! The waitress was so attentive to our needs and frequently checked in and the food was sooo tasty! I had the fried red snapper which had a little bit of a kick to it with the spice but I liked it with the side of broccoli and rice. M

Very nice spot, food was great. Atmosphere was very nice and would definitely recommend especially if you are looking to plan a date, the music isn’t too loud as it’s mostly Japanese soft pop. Nicely decorated though mostly for smaller groups as the space can be a bit tight. Got the Noodles (Hot Men and Regular Men) was very flavorful and the Hot Men was not too spicy. Definitely very expensive, but the ice cream is good, and they have a nice little selection. The person serving me was obviously training, and the manager was watching her to make sure she did good- which was nice to see! I originally got a tiny scoop... which- I think is normal, but they ended up giving me more. It was like $8 for that tiny scoop though, so I for sure can't afford to make this a normal visit.

Worst Chinese food ever My daughter is hot and Sarah Son was more like a drop soup in my egg drop soup was more like hot and sour soup . The pad Thai contained onions i’m allergic to onions …and green peppers had no bean sprouts or egg and did not have any of the famous peanut sauce. The noodles were dry.Horrible save your $ get a sandwich or pizza.

I recently visited Sushi Lin with a friend for their omakase experience, and we were both very impressed. The sushi was fresh, beautifully prepared, and the portions were surprisingly generous. Thought I’d try something new today so I stopped into The Black Bull. It looked like a nice bar. At 1:15pm (15 minutes after the bar opened) I left because of the horrible crowd. I’ve lived in this neighborhood for 20 years, I’ve seen good bars come and go. This place is a fad right now that won’t last. I won’t be back.

Went to this spot last week in Dumbo and we loved it! The sandwiches were excellent , we tried the egg & cheese, and purple potato dry chicken and mochi… so yummy! The drinks were amazing too, our favorite was the brown sugar bubble. Huge thanks to Yuri for taking such good care of us :) Definitely coming back next time we’re in Dumbo :)

Great views, great vibes, and great tasting pizza. Drinks were also good. All around great experience. It was kid and dog friendly. Had seating inside and outside. Also, they had live piano music.
