I went to Market Hotel for the first time last night for a “Recession Pop” party and had so much fun! They were playing 2008 hits like Rihanna, Lady Gaga, and Christina Aguilera, and everyone was dancing nonstop. The energy was amazing but still very chill. This was such a fun time! Great performance and interactions. Didn’t like drink selections but you can’t win them all. Neighborhood has no parking and a little sketchy but didn’t feel unsafe.

Great vibe but there needs to be a cap on how many people are let in at some point. When the crowd was manageable there was room to dance and it was fun. But it quickly became a packed like sardines/crowd-crush/fire hazard situation which wasn’t enjoyable at all so we ended up leaving. Security should do better at monitoring if they’re at capacity. sometimes you just can’t get in the club and that’s that
