We had a blast celebrating my partner's 29th birthday with laser tag at Area53. Jose made our experience especially top tier—calling me to make sure my questions were answered before our reservation, explaining the rules to our group, making sure we always had water, and curating what kind of game we would play based on our preferences. He was also just so infectiously joyful that we couldn't help but have a good time. 10/10 recommend.

What to order: Red Wattle Pork Chop · Chicken Liver Mousse · Pear Sourdough PancakesIf you’re looking for classic American brunch then this place is good for you; simple menu with all the classics. Personally I was not fan of the Apple sourdough pancake but others like it — so if that’s your thing then great. My only suggestion: offer freshly squeezed orange / grapefruit juice. Service was excellent: all the staff were the kindest. Atmosphere was cosy and welcoming; we were sat in the dining room area but they have also opened the backyard seating now which is great for warmer

This place feels like a hidden gem. The food is spectacular, especially for the price - the couscous is a must-try. With respect to service, I literally saw one of the waiters run to help an old lady get her groceries to her apartment. One of my favorite restaurants in the city.
Garbage was kept in open or leaky containers, which attracts pests.

The açaí bowl is so good!! Service is great. Love it when it came with the actual ceramic bowl instead of a plastic bowl. The little courtyard is very cute too.

What to order: Pernil · Medianoche · Bacon, Egg, and CheeseI stepped in here because I wanted a coffee but it was a pleasant little surprise. The lunch special is reasonably good. Rice , beans and chicken for $10 in dumbo? That’s a deal. It was seasoned well and tasty. I had some coffee too. Would absolutely come back here again if I’m in the area.
