Simple cafe for Japanese appetizers, sushi rolls & poke (custom or signature) with soft drinks.

The food was okay. The general two's chicken was a little lackluster and the fried shrimp a bit oily. The poke bowl was going great, until I bit down on something inedible and pulled out what looks like a thick piece of a cut up plastic. :( Was hoping it was just the peel of a shrimp, but there's a boxy pattern on it.
With its bare-bones interior, Kealoha is probably better suited for takeout. The low price is the main draw here but don’t expect exceptional quality fish. As such, the rolls seem better than the sashimi, where you can really assess the fish. The side salad was just iceberg lettuce and a drizzle of dressing.
Great option for lunch in the area. I picked up a two protein poke bowl for around 18$ (added avocado) and was satisfied with the portion and flavors. They have a full extensive menu as well with special rolls and hot food. Quick friendly service.
