Love love love 87 Ludlow. The food is delicious--exactly like an elevated Filipino tapas bar in Manila would be. For pork eaters, the adobo kebab is a must try! Service is excellent and the drinks are good. We were surrounded by couples, so it seems like a great place to go on a date, too. As for me, I'll be coming back with more friends, so we can order more dishes! Haha. Try to checkout Ligaw, the adjoining bar: the eponymous drink is a must-try.
We had a lovely dinner at this Spanish-Filipino-inspired cuisine, located right at the heart of the Lower East Side. The place is spacious with full bar service. Our group of three was led promptly to our table upon checking in. We started our dinner with Lengua Estofado; a beef tongue dish in tomato sauce and Spanish pork sisig served with ciabatta bread and olive oil. I celebrated my 32nd birthday here with 12 of my friends, and it was truly unforgettable! 🥰 Hands down the best filipino restaurant I’ve ever been to 🫶 even my friends said they’ll definitely come back. The food was authentic and flavorful, the service was excellent, and the owners were so kind and friendly. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home.
