The fish balls were delicious and the broth that the fish balls were inside in had a soothing relaxing feeling and flavor to it. The peanut noodles were delicious but I wish the sauce was a little thicker. The taro cake was delicious and crispy though. It appears that it's authentic and you order at the counter, and it's pretty cheap for a meal to the point that is cheaper than even fast-food chains such as McDonald's these days.
It's been awhile since we set forth heading towards Flushing for some good eats. A bite of Fuzhou caught my eye, I was craving the beef chow fun and wanted to give it a chance. The establishment is fairly new. I didn't realize how long it was around. We orderd and then waited with other customers picking up their orders. Will not return. The food is so so: Taro cake 芋头糕 homemade wonton 福州扁肉 noodles w/ dried pickled vegetables 拌粉干糟菜 This restaurant opened in March. Previously, there was also a Chinese restaurant, operating under a different name and serving Northeastern cuisine. More of a take-out place, with tables (not sure if they've a bathroom), serving food on paper plates.
