Tried Abiko Curry in Koreatown and really enjoyed it. The mushroom pasta was rich, creamy, flavorful, and had a hint of curry, with just the right amount of spice. The shrimp curry was delicious, with tender shrimp and a umami sauce that had wonderful flavor. Portions were generous, service was fast, and I liked being able to choose the spice level. Definitely a good spot if you’re craving Japanese curry in NYC.

The fried chicken rice and the beef curry udon came in big portions and they tasted rich and comforting. It is my first time trying natto… such a unique, interesting flavor! The mushroom curry pasta was also delicious—I’m a huge mushroom lover, so I just wish there were even more mushrooms 👍🏻
