Great bar but WARNING: I have loved this place a long time but I’m sadly obligated to leave this review because the bartender was out of his damn mind. In particular, we ordered gin martinis off the happy hour menu (great deal, $10!). When each cost $16 on the bill we inquired; he said that because we didn’t specifically order “dry martinis” that indeed these drinks were not eligible for happy hour. Cozy and welcoming spot; best for a date night or small group. Got there around 8:30 on a Friday and we were lucky to grab the remaining bar stools. The bartender was nice and friendly.
(Note: this review was posted late) This spot is as lovely and cozy as the reviews say but be aware of what seems to be a temperamental bartender. When I went late September she was too occupied with talking to her one friend at the bar than to answer our questions and tend to our group, and, when we were able to borrow her attention for a brief moment, she was short and dismissive.
