My husband surprised me with a meal at Ammos for our second anniversary. Surprisingly, I had only had Greek cuisine once before, even though we dine out often. The server was both knowledgeable about the food and helpful in guiding our selections. His recommendations did not disappoint. The photos speak for themselves. Everything was delicious, and I have to say I am a sucker for well-plated food. From being greeted by the hostess to the farewells at the end of the meal, the entire experience
Came in for a late lunch with my wife. I was able to get a table pretty last minute and the entire experience was very pleasant. My server was Amel (not sure if I’m spelling that right) and he was very attentive and helpful. I had the tuna entree, Tuna tartare, Melitzanosalata, calamari and Skordalia. I loved the tuna tartare and the tuna entree. The portion size was rather generous, it seems reflective of the price. I would definitely recommend ammos for the overall ambience, service and tast
I can genuinely say Ammos is one of the best Greek restaurants in NYC. The food is incredible and the service is amazing every single time, and I’ve been here countless times with my boyfriend, girls nights, and for events. It never disappoints. Their seafood is amazing. Be sure to get the Pikilia and lamb chops!! Highly recommend!
