Traditional Indian restaurant serving a unique menu focused on cuisine from the Chennai region.

It's Anjappar, of course the food is going to be good, and since we were starving, everything tasted delicious. I was more partial towards the appetizers than the Biryani. Service was quick enough even though the place was packed, and the food was hot and fresh, eventhough we went in at 4 PM, which was neither lunch or dinner time. Decor was typical to most of the Indian restaurant chains in the US.
I loved my experience at Anjappar, I came for an after work dinner and the restaurant had great availability. Our server, Namrata was so sweet and polite, she was very helpful in giving recommendations based on my tastes and her experience at the restaurant. My friend and I LOVED the mango lassi and our food that came out quickly. We will definitely be back again!
I took a group of 20 college students here before a jazz show. The team was extremely accommodating. They let me pre-order a menu, food was ready when we arrived! Hospitality and quality of food was outstanding. I would recommend for any group (large or small). Very inviting and friendly.
