Great breakfast. Plenty of options. I had corned beef hash and mu wife had chicken and waffles. Both were excellent. Bus of 43 came in right after we sat down and the staff handled it beautifully. Lots of famous photos on the wall..may have to see if they will hang mine up there...after all...they had a photo with a youtube dog on it. Very satisfied with the service. Jerry our waiter kept my coffee full and hot.
If you are looking for a more traditional old school diner experience, look no further. The atmosphere felt like stepping into an older time, which wasn't a bad thing - if you're wanting to feel nostalgic. Food was OK -- If you are a big avocado toast person like me, you're going to probably want to go somewhere else. But if you like big hearty portioned classic breakfast foods I think this would be a good choice from the plates I saw passing by. Service was quick and attentive.
During a brief visit to the city, I stumbled upon this fantastic diner. Mike, the host, was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that every guest felt right at home. The food was exceptional; I enjoyed a hot open turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes that was simply delicious. If you find yourself in the area, I highly recommend stopping by Applejack Diner to say hello to Mike and enjoy a great meal!
