I hadn’t been to % Arabica in almost four years, so I decided to stop by while waiting for a friend in Midtown. I ordered the Kyoto Latte, and it honestly exceeded my expectations. The espresso and milk were perfectly balanced, creating a smooth, rich cup with just the right amount of sweetness. It reminded me why this brand has such a great reputation. It is a very cool place with a great design and architecture. However, they miss the main part: coffee quality! My espresso was very poor and bitter. I asked for a ceramic cup but they didn’t have one. Service was quick but very cold. Not a real place to sit and enjoy your coffee either. Sits are minimal and uncomfortable. It might fight no more than 6 people. Not the best experience.
Had this brand of coffee for the first time in Bali and we were hooked! While on our visit to New York we found this one which was close by so we went to check it out with no regrets. I like the Spanish latte which has a smooth, sweet and silky taste. Its 100% Arabica beans which tend to have a smoother taste compared to Robusta which is slightly more bitter.
