Informal BYOB spot with a convivial vibe serving samosas, tandoori chicken & other spicy classics.
From Google Maps reviews.
We came here with a large group of 6, and ordered several dishes as well as garlic naan and the appetizer platter. The value is quite good, dishes weren’t mostly sauce and there was plenty of meat or chickpeas in each dish. The vindaloo was spicy, which was great - sometimes Indian restaurants in NYC hold back on spice and seasoning, and that’s just not the case here. Chicken korma was excellent, channa masala also superb. I also highly recommend the appetizer platter - great value, the samosas
The vibes and service are 10/10! The food was good but the naan was not naan, it was stuffed pita bread which was such a bummer. The restaurant is not byob anymore too. Would come back for a quick curry and the spice levels are def to my flavor profile 🙂↕️
Great authentic food. Waitress explains each dish and presentation is great. Their spices are quality and it’s Honestly spicy not like other places which have no kick. If you’re sensitive to spices, go with mild, it’s only for true spice lovers.
