Visited 30 minutes before closing when it wasn't busy. Service was a bit slow at first since we had to ask for menus, but the food came out fast and all at once. The wall decor is nice and the lighting is cozy. Unfortunately, the food portions are small for the price, I will come back because the taste is good but Im not rich so I would take that in count at the time to go eat outside

While the food was objectively good and our server was genuinely nice and kind, the evening was completely spoiled when the check arrived. Baazi Nyc is my absolute go-to for Indian food on the UWS! I frequently order takeout from them, and the food is consistently fantastic. They have mastered the perfect level of spiciness—it’s never bland or overly sweet, and they don’t just blast the food with heat for the sake of it. You can actually taste the complex, authentic flavors instead of just burning your palate. If you are looking for recommendations, their Branzino Pollichattu is an absolute must-have.
