Nice neighborhood spot for brunch or late lunch. The place is small but has some additional limited street outdoor seating available. Food was good and was served very quickly. Avocado toast was a generous portion however Drinks are a bit on the smaller side. Friendly and helpful staff
Batner NYC is a lovely spot in the West Village. The food is fresh, creative, and comforting. Everything we ordered was delicious. The only thing that was kinda off for me personally- my Golden latte was not exactly hot, some people call it “kid-temp” but for me it’s simply lukewarm. So if you like your coffee hot - make sure you mention it. The atmosphere was very pleasant and service great without trying too hard. Would happily come back.
Unfortunately, the service really overshadowed our experience. While I understand it gets busy, we were rushed to order and met with attitude throughout the meal. One server even slammed the ordered hot chocolate down at our table. Toward the end, we were rushed out despite there being clearly open tables available.
