Charming Italian mainstay dating back to 1921 serving rustic fare in a white-tablecloth setting.

I have been wanting to come here ever since it was recommended to us. The parking is horrendous. There is a gravel parking lot in front with only about 10 spaces and then a road in front of that where most of it you can’t park because it’s peoples houses and they have signs and cones up to not park there. We spend a half hour trying to park in two spots that were too small. I recommend getting there before 5:30 or after 8 to avoid a parking nightmare. We made a reservation for 2 at 7. Recommend
Took a friend visiting from Wisconsin here for authentic Italian. The fried zucchini were thick like steak fries, so delicious & loved being able to really taste it. She had the gnocchi al forno and I had the Linguine Bolognese. Both absolutely melted in your mouth and the meal didn't make us feel heavy.
I was born and raised on Staten Island and am sorry I had never been here before. Excellent experience. Staff made me feel like I was walking into my grandparents house for Sunday dinner and the food made me feel like my grandmother was in the kitchen. Can't wait to go back.
