Bazar Tapas NYC delivered one of those meals where every dish and every cocktail felt carefully crafted. I’ll just be straight and honest, two major concerns 1. There was no sign nor the staff member telling me of the 3% credit card surcharge, I only find out when I have the receipt, this is illegal in NYC. Edit: the owner told me it was well published in their menu, maybe I didn’t see it. If they put in the menu then it complies with the law. 2. Extremely delicious. I loved the way the octopus and short rib were cooked. I like my octopus soft inside and crispy outside. It was perfect. The short rib, oh my goodness! Tender! That wild mushroom mousse pairs well with the potatoes and spinach on the short rib. For starters, we had the pan con tomate and burrata pomodoro. At first, we thought we ordered too many bread options, but I couldn’t complain. The pan con tomate pairs well with the burrata and is great for mopping up all the sauces.
