This was my first time in NYC, and I wasn't to familiar with the restaurants there but I stumbled upon this GEM here. The food was DELICIOUS!! I had tried the Seafood Platter which was amazing and seasoned to perfection. I also tried the Ox Tail Cheesesteak... Amazing as well. This will most definitely be one of my regular food stop, when I travel to New York!!
I was really excited to try this meal, but it was honestly disappointing. The entire plate was swimming in grease!!!! The bottom of the bag was soaking 😢 my potatoes were covered in a wet sauce, and the asparagus was drenched in liquid. After eating, I started getting pains in my chest from all the acid. I hope you take a closer look at how the dishes are plated, because I couldn’t enjoy it
Food is mid at best, and the customer service is horrible. During my most recent visit, the cashier was rude and completely ignored me while I was standing directly in front of her. After waiting, I finally said hello, and she rolled her eyes and responded with, "Yeah?" At that point, I decided to leave. First impressions matter, and that interaction alone was enough for me not to spend my money there. I can only imagine the negative energy going into the food if that's how customers are treate
