📍 Benji’s Buns, West Village NYC Okay… updating my original review because I went back for Mother’s Day and this time got the 6-pack 👀 I went around 10:30 on a Sunday morning and surprisingly there was no line, which was a huge win 🙌 After trying more flavors, I can confidently say the specialty buns are definitely where Benji’s shines ✨ Some of these were REALLY good. My fav cinnamon buns (in order): 🍓 Raspberry Cheesecake such a good balance of sweet cheesecake frosting and refreshing
The workers are very nice and worked fast. Wasn’t a long wait to get the cinnamon rolls which was good everything was friendly and fast service The biscoff cinnamon roll was very good very soft and have that pillow bite into it , wasn’t overly sweet which was good. I’d give it a 10/10 very good! The strawberry Nutella cinnamon roll was very good , frosting was good and the Nutella compliments it well . My thing is I wish the strawberry was more of a natural strawberry purée added to enhance it
very good sweet treat. i was a bit worried because there are no knives only forks but it’s so soft you don’t even need a knife to cut it. very fluffy. i went for the basic glazed one but will definitely come back to try the more creative flavors
