Hands down one of the best meals ever. The food was exceptional, the service was amazing, and the atmosphere was warm and charming. Such a gorgeous wee unassuming place. You’d never know how special it is until you’re inside. Bistro Vendôme is a true hidden gem.
My friend and have lunch here a few times a year. This week we arrived at 1245 and it was rather quiet due to the bad weather. Our waiter was very attentive to our table and very pleasant. We decided to both order the chicken Caesar salad. It was very nice. The lettuce was fresh and crispy and the chicken was cooked perfectly. We each had a glass of wine. To finish off our lunch, we decided to share a crème brûlée and it was wonderful. A very nice and quiet dining experience.
Absolutely fantastic! From the decor, the friendly, attentive and knowledgeable waiters, to the fabulous food, Bistro Vendôme is must for those who enjoy French cuisine. If you'd like to try fine French food, this is the place to start! I loved the Baked Mussels Provençale. I had the Mussels and a salad as my entrée and that was perfect for me. For dessert, get the Floating Island. The outdoor seating made for a memorable summer evening. I'll be overjoyed to return someday!
