Along with the more popular and well-known Xi'An Famous Foods, Bites of Xi'an is another chain serving food from Northwestern China. I had previously been to their Brooklyn location, and I believe their location in the East Village. Compared to the other spot, I wouldn't order the cumin lamb noodles, but instead recommend either a Rou jia mo/肉夹馍, or their Diao Diao Mian. Came here and two separate occasions one for the lamb noodles and the other for the spicy beef. Noodles here are delicious. Hand pulled are a must
Always come here for takeout. Food is great as well as a takeout package with reasonable price. - Crispy burger with pork is amazing. I had it after 10 minutes and it was still hot. Nice to have it when it’s still hot and crispy. - Dian dian noodles are yummy. Soup was packed separately from noodles. Portion of stewed beef and veggies are reasonable. Quite disappointed with hand-ripped noodles as they got solid in chuck when not hot anymore even though I put soup into them. Next time I’ll get
