The space is beautiful and warm. The service was uneven, our waiter was fantastic but the guys pouring water and removing plates were weirdly aggressive. When filling water they were moving so fast they spilled several times, splashing our food and phone. And they kept trying to remove plates before we were done, it felt like they wanted us to hurry up and leave. The food is really solid to great. We loved the focaccia, arancini and lasagna. Congrats on winning a James Beard for your beverage service. It's a shame that our waiter didn't even ask us if we wanted a beverage when we had lunch yesterday. As judges for the Beards (not the restaurant category), we were underwhelmed by his service. Yes, we were offered and received sparkling water, but it customary to be asked if we would like a beverage in addition to water. Beautiful space and really large. The focaccia and crudo were good appetizers. The pastas were really great and enjoyed those the most. The rhubarb tart was extremely strong which I like because I love rhubarb. The two of us got 2 apps 2 pastas and one main. As well as a dessert. We were full but we could have probably gotten 1 more app to share. 1 more entree if you’re really hungry
