Unpretentious Meatpacking District pub with an extensive beer selection & a roof deck.
From Google Maps reviews.
I just happened to hang out at this place since it was probably the most affordable bar in the area. I needed a place to hangout while waiting for my wife and her friends have their ladies' night out (designated driver and all). I thought it was just a cozy, neighborhood bar. I had the Fish and Chips for dinner. It wasn't bad. It could have used some more seasoning. But it went very well with the tartar sauce. I had four beers from the tap (my limit for the night): They were the Brass Monkey IPA
The Brass Monkey is absolutely one of my favorite bars in the Meatpacking District. It's a fantastic place that sets itself apart from the more high-end hot spots in the area. I love coming here either right after work or during "off hours" when it's not too busy. A big shout-out to the staff here. Very friendly. Pull up by the counter and have a pint. 🍻
Located in the Meatpacking District.... three levels...can be intimate on the lower level but its a tight space. Due to weather, I didn't see the rooftop. Appetizers n drinks are good. I'm not a fan of the fish tacos. Could use more flavor. Service is not friendly..... hopefully if I come again I will have a better experience.
