I have long been a loyal patron of Bread’s Bakery. They offer a variety of delicious breads, pastries, salads, dips, vegetables, beverages and more made with high quality ingredients. They are a really valuable contribution to the lincoln square neighborhood with a healthy option for breakfast, lunch, or dinner for residents and employees working nearby. Their menu offers a variety of options for individuals with different dietary needs and preferences. They have always had an A safety rating.
We stopped by for a snack after the folk art museum. It didn't look promising, but the UWS is pretty bereft of decent options and we figured it would be fine. "Fine" is a word for it, in that it wasn't absolutely awful. In fact, it wasn't anything at all. It tasted like literally nothing. I had a slice of matcha strawberry basque cheesecake, which I was shocked to see was $10 (the prices were not obviously displayed, which is a violation of nyc law, but I digress), and a small cappuccino with a
Suggestion: perhaps you could list the ingredients used in your macaroons, so those who despite coconut (or, worse, are allergic to it) might graciously avoid buying them. What do you think? In the meantime, may I request a refund, please, as the entire bag (minus a tiny, tiny bite from one macaroon) ended up in the trash? Thank you.
