My husband and I live in the area and stopped here for a coffee and a smoothie and it was really good! We loved the smoothie and the coffee was good. It wasn't as good as a Blank Street or a Gregory but it was good. They have great seating area inside and outside. I loved that their bathroom smelled really nice.
I was really excited to try this spot before work and ordered an iced spiced maple coffee (it’s 75 cents extra, so I thought it would be fun to try something unique). I sat patiently for 10 minutes while several customers who came in after me were served their coffee, food, and given warm attention. Meanwhile, I was just a girl, standing in front of a counter, waiting for her $7+ coffee. Wanting to give the café the benefit of the doubt, I got back in line to check on my order. The response was
Hit or miss with coffee: their latte was great but the decaf coffee was burnt and bitter unfortunately. The croissant was good, kids liked it. The patio is simple but great, plenty of seats and tables in the sun or in the shade. Close to the ferry.
