Great brunch spot and the food is always comforting! It’s usually a less wait if you’re a larger party. We’ve been multiple times now and we’ve waited no more than 5 minutes when we have larger parties of 6 or more. Wait times can get longer if you’re a group of 2 or 3. Their fried chicken is some of the best I’ve had. The pancakes are always fluffy and very filling. I prefer the sourdough pancakes only because they’re thinner and not as heavy. We had a great experience! The service was excellent, the waitress was friendly and attentive. The spicy chicken burger was really tasty, although I would have liked it to be a bit spicier. The fries were fresh and crispy. The pancake was fluffy and very delicious. One thing to keep in mind is that it’s best to reserve a table in advance.
I wanted to try the hyped Bubby’s pancakes that everyone talks about. We went on a Sunday around 2 PM and had to wait about 40 minutes, which is probably normal for a popular brunch spot in NYC on the weekend. The staff was very friendly and the interior was cute.
